"Get out of her." Cain's voice cracks across the room as my hands rise without my permission. Silver burns beneath my skin, bright enough to hurt my eyes.
I try to lower them. Nothing happens. My fingers spread, and my head tilts toward the three Alphas like I'm choosing which one to break first.
Rex lunges for me. The silver lines flare. He jerks back with a curse, clutching his scorched palm.
"Don't touch her," Aiden snaps.
"Then what do we do? Watch?" Rex bares his teeth. "She's not even in there."
He's right.
I'm trapped behind my own eyes, buried somewhere inside my skull. I can see everything. I can feel my feet moving. I just can't stop them.
My mouth smiles.

Cain's silver eyes narrow. "Who are you?"
"Ask Marcus. He remembers."
Every face turns toward him.
Marcus stands beside the broken bottle, glass glittering around his boots. He hasn't moved since the voice took control of me. His expression isn't shock.
It's recognition.
I fight for my mouth. "You knew—"
