Chapter 15 · Stream the Hunters

The stream went live at 2:53 AM.

I didn't plan it. Cole was still bleeding through the bandage on his shoulder. Dennis had called twice. I sent him to voicemail both times.

I just opened OBS and hit Start Streaming.

"Hey." My voice came out flat. "It's me. We're doing something different tonight."

Chat exploded immediately. Forty viewers became sixty. Then eighty.

NightShift_Reg: 4 days no stream we thought you died

Silent_Tracker: Interesting timing.

I ignored that last one. Leah could watch all she wanted. That's why I was doing this.

"No game tonight." I adjusted the mic. "Tonight I'm gonna tell you a story. A real one."

Cole's voice came from behind me. "Ivy. Don't."

"You said they already know." I didn't look at him. Kept my eyes on chat. "You said the signal's loud. So let's make it louder."

"That's not—"

"Every hunter crew in the region is triangulating lone streamers, right?" I leaned toward the camera. Still no face cam. Not yet. "Female. Pacific Northwest. Irregular schedule around full moons. That's the profile. So here's what I'm thinking. If they're already looking, let's give them exactly what they want.
