Synopsis
Before the gathered elders in the camp outside the tent, twenty-four-year-old Arwa faces a humiliating tribal spectacle as the ceremonial white cloth waits in her mother's hand. Shimon the Egyptian steps forward to defy the assembly, silencing the demand for proof and recording her name into his unyielding register to shield her honor. But once the public ritual is shattered and the heavy door falls from the outside, sealing them within the locked private wing of their wedding tent, the exile and his proud bride must face the fierce covenant they have bound together.
