The Survivor's Circle

The file in the box opens by itself. The woman it describes is standing in Mark's hallway. Three years ago, he was summoned to another world, refused to be their hero, and got thrown back with a burned hand and a monthly curse. Now seven strangers with dragon scars, invisible weapons, and living shadows have his address—and the note says if he doesn't run their support group, they die. Mark throws it away. The next night, the ER nurse gets attacked by something that shouldn't exist, and the veteran shows up at his door with a blade only he can see. They're all survivors. They all have proof. And one of them is lying about how they got here. The rifts are opening, the circle won't trust each other, and Mark has to decide: find the infiltrator and send them all back—or let both worlds tear apart.
