Synopsis

From the quiet shadow of her high gallery overlooking the neighboring estate in Riyadh, Sheikha Al-Balawi spent months observing the formal gatherings in the majlis below, assigning invented names and measured destinies to every man who walked across its stone floor. She believed distance made her invisible and safe, until a single fractured minute shattered the orderly patterns of her private registry. The man she observed was Mansour Al-Enezi, and he was neither blind to her vigil nor willing to let what she witnessed remain an unspoken secret. Bringing her down from the gallery and into the silence of his private wing, Mansour draws the heavy door shut, locking out the ceremonial hall, the watching elders, and every false name she ever spoke. Behind that closed boundary, stripped of her vantage point, Sheikha must confront the unyielding weight of a man whose real voice dismantles every fiction she built—leaving her to decide whether to walk out into the dawn or surrender completely to his claim.
